From what rumors I heard, I think Dwayne was planning on there being a war between the Forever Knight factions.

I knew the Forever Knights can't be trusted, nothing like X-Men like racism overtures. They used the word sorcerest, I am glad they finally used that term of magacian which they used in the original series to describe magical user speceficly Hex. A sorcerer or sorcerest use real magic, a magacian uses fake magic.

Hey, I just realized that Ben used Chromastone's flying ability. That's a first!

Haha, a tinfoil hat.

And so begins the new story arc.

Well, that ending certainly gave a feel of something bigger on the horizon. Looks like there might be hope for this series yet.

Cyrus alien phobia, he reminds me of White and his Evo phobia.

Now than the next episode is a big training episode. I don't know who Ben and Kevin will train with, but I hope that Gwen and Charmcaster train together. Unless Vedona comes back and she was just here so doubtful she would comeback so soon, who is the only one that could train Gwen with her powers?

How do you know the next episode will revolve around them? How do you know it won't be around the Plumber's Helpers?

Today's episode is the start of the Season 2 Story Arc...the Forever Knight Gang War!

*The retirement home scene was pretty creepy and that's one big ancient seal/vault!

*So there's 4 fractions of the Forever Knights? Driscoll, Patrick, Urion and Syrus. I love how Gwen hung a lampshade about keeping track of this stuff:lol:.

*How many of you figured he was going to become Humongasuar *raises hand*? Thought so. I did laugh at how he hit his head though:lol:.

*Winston is pretty funny. I loved how Kevin said he was (essentially) a background character.

*Woah, that's a huge bug:eek:!Gwen getting possessed sort of reminded me of the Original Series episode, Ghostfreaked Out(as did Kevin's immunity to the possession).

*So the creature is called the "La Cubra", huh?

*Didn't see Gwen's politics remark coming. Good thing I don't get into those kind of arguments.

*Gwen and Kevin's argument and Ben being the tie breaker was something else.

*Armadrillo's transformation was really cool!

*My dad rolled his eyes at NRG's name and Kevin's "tin foil hat" line, I found it pretty amusing.

*Looks like Winston and the squire from "Team Patrick" have something in common.

*Uh oh, the La Cubra still seems to have some control over Winston!

*That old guy from the retirement home walked up to the seal and...walked away...weird.

Interesting start to this arc, I can't wait to see Enoch's return!

I don't, I am just guessing. The episode description on Wikipedia says TBA. A someone that is a fan of Shonnen, training arcs can be fun in its own way. I would love it, if it does take sort of a fast forward version of a training arc.

Well, I'm guessing that it involves either the Plumber's Helpers or Ben, Kevin, and Gwen training new plumber cadets. After all, why would Ben and the team need training?

Because the main villains of the seasons have finally appeared. The formula is, the main villains appear, have a fight with the heros, the heros realise they need to get stronger, and than you have a training arc.

But I guess that is not the case here, the series is not a shonnen.

I'm going to bet that the old man will be the villain

I completely spaced him out until just now, lol. Who exactly was he supposed to be, anyways? He seemed really random...

This episode was pretty good... actually, the past couple episodes have been pretty good in my opinion. The last few moments of this episode definately makes me think that there will be alot more to come... I think there might be some sort of conflict between Gwen, Kevin, and the squire kid... although, I will admit that interaction was kinda random.

I wonder if some sort of character development is in store for Gwen, she seemed to be the focus with her being under mind control and the whole magical theme in the episode itself. This may be the time where Charmcaster will come into play and maybe help her in the plot... if that squire kid can still be controlled, as we've seen at the end of the episode, there's a chance that Gwen's at risk as well... and Kevin may not be around all the time to give her a helmet either.

If Gwen gets more of that X-Men reacism like she did in this episode for having magical abilities, she might start to understand Charmcaster more and more.

Maybe he was the one who created that magical seal in the first place or at least is a decedent of that Forever Knight who did. I'll admit that I totally forgot about him until the last few seconds of the episode.

I guess that they're trying to go with a love triangle between Gwen, Kevin the young squire. Honestly, I think it's kind of unnecessary tension at this point. Even when he was in his raging Ultimate Kevin mode, Gwen never wanted to give up on helping him and they both clearly care about each other. It was kind of odd that Kevin was so immediately jealous, although not really outside of his character, but it doesn't make much of any sense to me why Gwen would be attracted to the squire after all she's gone through with Kevin, not to mention the fact that they barely interacted in this episode at all.

I thought that this was a pretty interesting episode. I kind of thought that the brief fight at the beginning with the Forever Knights was kind of unnecessary when they had an eye-witness right there. Though, I guess they had to reestablish the conflict between Ben and the Forever Knights. Still, at least a monster from another dimension coming out of the seal was something I did not expect to see here and it did have a pretty cool design too. I had a feeling that Kevin's armor was protecting him from the mind control. While I understood he was kind of dodging admitting his true feelings, it was kind of sweet to see Kevin so concerned for Gwen's safety. I didn't really understand how Gwen could have sealed the creature so quickly, but she does have access to spells and such.

Unlike with a few other episodes this season, the ending did make me think that the events here will play out in other episodes, such as the squire still being controlled by the monster and the seemingly unnecessary tension between the Gwen and Kevin romance. Though, if it does lead to some character development for Gwen, especially since the monster could control her mind again and Kevin might not be there to help her, then that wouldn't be too bad. I think she does need some more development and I certainly wouldn't be against it happening. It was an interesting episode and I think that there is some nice potential for the rest of the season. I'm still wondering why it needed to be introduced in the seventh episode, but that's just me.
